Vibrates very bad over 70 mph. I'm a mechanic myself, and I tried balanced nce tires many times. When spinning on the balancer, they were out of round. Wheels spin straight 31x10.50r15. I've seen 1 review on this site with same problem. Brand new tires on 1995 Bronco when I bought it. I bought Hankook Dyna pros as well. Now those were smooth, all balanced with 2.00 ounces of weight and less - very good for this size tire. All the years I've been a mechanic. I've never seen General tires that I was impressed with.

I'm rather surprised in reading the other reviews...I must have got a bad set. I had these these tires put on my Silverado back in June as I wanted a more off road tire (replaced Bridgestone Dueler AT/RH-S tires which lasted me 61,000). Since these have been put on, I have driven just over 11,000 miles on them and just had them rebalanced for the fifth time. Yes, the fifth time, and each time the tires needed weight. I don't notice the road noise, but these tires ride far rougher than anything else I've ever driven on. I attribute that to the stiffer sidewall, but it makes me wonder why I have to keep getting them balanced.
These tires are great for offroading, and I had zero problems driving on the beaches in North Carolina, but add a light rain and it's almost impossible to accelerate form a stop, no matter how hard you press the pedal. Haven't had the chance to drive on good snow pack, but a light coating on the roads and it's hold on for your life. Personally, I wouldn't recommend these tires for a daily driver. Great off road, and are responsive tires, but I feel they're far worse than the Bridgestones I took off the truck.

We have used General Grabbers AT2's on many vehicles and LOVE them. Great traction and wear, not to mention looking tough. Slightly noisy ride but to be expected from an AT tire. AT2's are our go to tire and have been for many years.

I have purchased 4 and I am proud to have gotten them. I had BFGoodriches on when I purchased my truck new, and I found these tires just as good and maybe even better. Well worth the money.

Great off road traction in light mud. Tough enough to not have to worry about large/sharp rock and stump damage at moderate speeds. These tires do have a little road noise, but that is expected in the all-terrain category. Great for snow and sleet. They look great.

Great grip in snow, very low road noise.

I spent my day in and out of tire shops, getting the same crap from all of them: "that's not a popular size," "we don't have them in stock," "you will have to wait several days until they come." By the time I walked into this shop, I was disgusted and about to go online to get the same tires I saw all day cheaper with no harassment, and still have to wait several days- but they showed me two sets they had in stock and when they heard they were not what I was looking for they looked for others that would suit my needs. Although they did not have them in stock, I did not have to wait days to get them, they sent someone to another city to pick them up for me, so I had my new tires in two hours!
I did not have them install the tires, nor did they align my vehicle, so I don't know how the garage service is but I can tell you the customer service guy I saw was incredible. He went above and beyond to satisfy me and when I am making a purchase as large as I did with them, that's what I expect. I was not buying just one tire, I bought 4, I spent over $500, I expected this kind of service from every place I visited and only received it from this one. You can bet your bottom dollar the next time I have to purchase tires I will use them again.
The tires I bought are general grabbers, they are a slightly aggressive tire with excellent traction which was badly needed here. The last few times it snowed, I had a hard time getting out of my driveway, never mind going anyway else, so I was pretty frustrated with the truck. Now I can feel the tire grip the road rather than slide over it so I'm no longer dreading Thursday's upcoming snow storm, as I know I will be safe driving around with tires that actually have traction.

These are awesome tires. They have been great in the snow. And the tread looks great. Perfect wear. I would definitely buy again!!

Just got these tires a few weeks ago. They are good on dry roads and in rain. Cornering is great for a tire with a large sidewall. I will post another review when I see how they wear. Snow traction is awesome. I didn't even use 4WD in this storm. Really wanted to see how they worked. With the OEM tires, I would have had to use 4WD with no doubt. I did go sideways a little but the road was completely snow covered.

I know, all five stars, but these tires deserve it! I have been runing these in the winter months for the last three winters and switch to the General Grabber HTS for summer months just to increase my fuel mileage and since I do have two sets of wheels. I have driven through 24 inches of un-plowed snow in 4WD and have never spun a wheel! They work pretty darn good on ice, too. Treadwear is very good, a bit noisier since it is an aggressive tread. I cannot say enough about these tires.

In the process of having my Liberty outfitted with overlanding related equipment, General tires grabber AT2 are the best thing I could have bought.
